About me.

Because every blog is written by a person, and any person writing a blog is obviously a narcissist that needs a special place for them to talk about how great and awesome they are, a public place, so others can read about how great and awesome they are. But they can't just have an entire blog dedicated to just that, so that's why they make an "About me" page.

I am Mousethecat. Chat moderator for Kongregate, and internet-based character.

I believe there's a significant difference between "people" and "characters". When I see the word "character", I see "Charisma" and "Actor".

Charisma is that stat, when present in a video game, helps give the player influence over others, which leads to bonuses and other good things. This applies to real life as well (Like most things learned from video games). People with charisma gain influence over others; others listen to them, others care about them, others want their attention, others are interested in them, others want to be more like them.

To me, this is real "power".

A lot of people have the wrong idea of the term "Actor", commonly associated with words like "fake" or "pretending". I associate it only with the word "Action", and actions are how things happen. Actions are what put ideas and thoughts into reality. It doesn't matter how great your ideas are, or how many of them you have; if you cannot put them into action, they are useless.

An actor takes action. They do things. They are never bored.

We live in a world, where, if you're reading this, you have access to the largest pool of ideas in existence, and there's an entire world in which to take action in. Think about this next time you see someone complain about how bored they are, or if you ever find yourself bored.

So, are you a person? or a character? It's up to you. Not only to decide, but to take action.

Oh, I also have another blog that I rarely post in.
